With my ice coffee to my right…

And my black tea to the left….

I confess …I mean write the following:

So what if I have spent my Blessings college tuition on Coffee with 2% and one Sweet~n~ low.

Who cares if the dream of hitting the open road in the old RV with the Papa Blessing have been consumed in a Venti cup of Black tea! { like that was ever going to happen any way}

A girls gotta’ live!

Can I get an AMEN?!

So, I though what a better way to bring a little Christmas cheer than to bring you down with me…I mean share some joy.
Tis the season after all !

So we are having a giveaway! The winner will receive {drum roll} a
$50 Starbucks card!
Yup, that’s a lot of Cappuccino baby!

To throw your name in the ol' hat all you have to do is leave a comment answering this question and become a "follower" of my blog.

Hi Christilynn

My favorite holiday tradition is when my mama and I make her old family recipe of chocolate sweet rice. We spend hours in the kitchen and it is so yummy when we are done. Lord willing we are making it together next week!! Praying and hoping you are doing well my friend.

Our favorite family tradition is drinking hot chocolate with the girls on Christmas eve, it may sound simple, but htis time gives us a chance to talk about what the holiday is really baout with the kids and to spend some quality time with them before the chaos in the morning. Every second counts <3

Our tradition is to watch "It's a Wonderful Life" - favorite holiday movie!! We used to have a competition every year to see who could watch it the most during the season with my brother in law's family. Merry Christmas Christylynn!

My favorite tradition is the advent celebration my husband has been doing for the past five years. Ever morning throughout December, when we wake up, there is a sweet note and a small gift in our stockings. It might be an orange, and the note might say, "Orange you thankful for the mercy of Christ?"... or tissues with, "Jesus stores up all of your tears because you are precious in His sight."

my favorite christmas tradition was when we all gathered at my mom and dad's house on christmas day...we would open gifts, spend the day and night together and my mom would make those amzaing teacake cookies...those balls that are amazing shortbread, with chips of nuts and rolled in powdered sugar...omg...
unfortunately, my family is no longer on this earth, but they are in my heart...cherish every moment the lord gives you...

My favorite Christams was a hapy and sad one. Times were very tuff for us and finanaces were slim. We had no money to get the kids gifts nor even money to fill the kitchen with food. I prayed for help and as you can imagine he answered my prayer. When we returned home from Wed night bible study with me and my 3 j's there is was the black trash bag full of gifts and some food for the pantry. Because I prayed and he hears and made sure a special church delivered. That was a Christams I never will forget even though it was a hard time in life.

My Favorite Christmas Tradition is eating Jesus' birthday cake for breakfast as my husband reads the TRUE Christmas story..... The boys love it, and who doesn't like dessert for breakfast? :O)

It starts off the morning of opening gifts on the right foot. We get to talk about the TRUE meaning of this season and it opens up dialog for questions from my young boys.

My favorite tradition is….. when I was little we would spend the night Christmas Eve at my grandparents house with my siblings and cousins. There were probably 5 of us every year spread out in our sleeping bags looking out the window and waiting for Santa. We would all fall asleep and sure enough every Christmas morning my Grandma would tell us that she heard Santa and sometimes would see him. We would all be so jealous and mad that she did not wake us up. This is my favorite Christmas memory and tradition!

My favorite holiday tradition was going to Midnight Mass with my Nana and then when we got home I got to put Baby Jesus in the manger....because after all he was "born on Christmas Morn"

My favorite holiday tradition is attending Christmas eve services at church with my family and then coming home and thanking God for sending us the greatest gift of all. We read the story of Jesus' birth together, listen to O Holy Night and pray for all those we received Christmas cards from and all the family far away. It is such a blessed time!

My favorite tradition is buying the gifts. It is the time of the year that I think of all the family and friends I've been blessed with all at once.

My fave is piling kids in the car and heading out to view the Christmas lights and decorations. I love jammied family, drinking hot chocolate and walking in the cold night air. It thrills my heart to see the number of families that go way out with their Nativities. I am Nativity obsessed and am happy to pass it on to my kidlets. Those nights are pure joy.
